COVID-19 Update
What we’re doing about COVID-19 and it’s effects on the community
Jay Murch 3-21-2020
As concerns about the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 increase, I wanted to personally reach out to update you on what we are doing to care for both our team and clients during this time.
Our current status:
We are a small business and we thank you for your continued support of us and business like ours who will most likely see the greatest impact. As we monitor the situation, we've been proactively making changes to our policies and making adjustments with our clients that best serves them.
Our plan is as follows:
Working remotely, connecting digitally: Our team is continuing to work normal business hours and have the resources and tools they need to do their jobs remotely. We are hustling from home and here to support you with the best-in-class service you’ve come to expect.
We've got you covered: On The Beat Fx has created an exclusive partnership with 6 DJ entertainment multi-ops each located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. We believe that these groups display and offer the same level of care, quality, and customer service as we aim to provide. Like us, they are also experiencing an increase of requests to reschedule March/April/May events to the end of 2020 and into the beginning of 2021 - With new and existing clients, this is making dates and availability for late 2020 and 2021 very limited. If you were originally booked with us and need to reschedule, we will prioritize your new date, however if one cannot be found between us and all of your current vendors, we will offer dates that are available from our trusted partners.
Taking care of one another: Social distancing has left many from entertainers to waitresses without a means to make any income. And social paranoia has left grocery store shelves empty; leaving families already struggling without the affordable items they normally purchase.
We will be donating 5% of our profits over the next month to a local organization supporting vulnerable families who need food assistance and direct relief during this difficult time.
In addition to these steps, we will be monitoring the latest information including recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization and doing our part to stop the spread of this disease.
We will continue to keep an eye on the situation and make further adjustments to our action plan if and when necessary. The health and well-being of our clients, team, and community are of utmost importance to us and will continue to be our north star as we navigate the road ahead.
Thank you for your steadfast support of our business—we are truly grateful.
Jay Murch and all of us at the On The Beat Fx team
