We are committed to improving the quality of the communities we live in and the people that support us. That’s why 3% of profits go towards great causes such as those that provide musical instruments to school children and local food pantries who provide fresh foods to families in need.
Hungry For Music
In 1992, Jeff Campbell organized a street musician concert to benefit the homeless and within three years he formed a non-profit organization called Hungry For Music, dedicated to expanding opportunities in music for children. Since then, Hungry for Music has placed more than 11,000 instruments in the hands of aspiring musicians – children whose trajectory has been forever altered by the life-changing gift of music. They have delivered anything from trombones and violins to xylophones and guitars to children in 49 states and 25 countries.
Afro Vegan Society
This non-profit organization works to provide resources and support to help people in marginalized communities transition to vegan living. There are recipes, meal plans, restaurant guides, workshops and events on the website. Since people in marginalized communities are often overlooked by those doing vegan advocacy, people in these communities have little or no access to information that would help them to make healthier, kinder, more sustainable choices. Afro-Vegan Society exists to make sure this information is available and accessible to everyone.
Equal Justice Initiative
EJI works with communities that have been marginalized by poverty and discouraged by unequal treatment. They are committed to changing the narrative about race in America. EJI provides research and recommendations to assist advocates and policymakers in the critically important work of criminal justice reform. They publish reports, discussion guides, and other educational materials, and their staff conducts educational tours and presentations for thousands of students, teachers, faith leaders, professional associations, community groups, and international visitors every year.
